Dímelo - Animated Logo
Dímelo is a part public art, part story telling project for which I created an animated logo.
From the projects website:
"This initiative gathers personal, anonymous stories from your life (via Story Mailboxes) and shares them on the air, online, and via social media - in English and in Spanish. Informed by these micro-stories from a cross-section of neighborhoods, we then will respond with compelling multimedia. We hope to spark a continuing conversation about major issues affecting your community and others in Southern Arizona, based around your lived experiences."
The mission was to have a logo that reflects the participatory aspect of the project and that it’s about sending messages. The producer Sophia Paliza-Carre and her team wanted something that's fresh, clean and kitschy. Of great importance was also to make the local aspect of the project clear which we did by incorporating the frame element inspired by papel picados and additionally fully embracing a bold Southwestern color palette.
